Babycakes Vegan Chocolate Cake Recipe!

I made a delicious chocolate cake the other day and I wanted to share the recipe. I was so excited to use brown rice flour!!!!!!  Recipe from Babycakes:

Ingredients:

3/4 cup brown rice flour

1/4 cup potato starch

2 tablespoons arrrowroot

1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

2 teaspoons baking powder

1/4 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 teaspoon xanthan gum

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup coconut oil

2/3 cup agave nectar

1/3 cup unsweetened applesauce

2 tablespoons pure vanilla extract

1/3 cup hot coffee

1 bag vegan chocolate chips

1/3 cup hemp milk

Preheat oven to 325 F.  Grease bottom of a 9×3-inch round cake pan with some coconut oil. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, potato starch, arrowroot, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, xanthan gum, and salt. Add 1/2  cup coconut oil and the agave nectar, applesauce, vanilla and hot coffee to the dry ingredients and stir until batter is smooth.

Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake on the center of the rack for 35 minutes. Let cake cool in the pan for 20 minutes, then gently run knife around the edges. Cover the top of the pan with a cutting board and flip over. Carefully lift the pan away and invert the cake onto a serving plate.

Melt the vegan chocolate chips and 1/3 cup hemp milk in a sauce pan. Drizzle chocolate sauce over the top of the cake in a zig zag pattern from one edge to another. Slice and ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!

    I still haven’t tried this yet but I can’t wait! I only got to taste the chocolate cupcake but it didn’t have frosting so i didn’t get the whole experience. haha
